NATIONAL IMMIGRANT COMING-OUT DAY

Dream PAC is teaming up with the National Immigrant Youth Alliance (NIYA) to host a Facebook Campaign for National Immigrant Coming-Out Day, scheduled for THIS THURSDAY! As an officer of the PAC eloquently put it, "National Immigrant Coming-Out Day, is a day in which undocumented students come out of the shadows of society and proclaim their status as undocumented. It is not easy to be undocumented and to pursue your educational goals at the same time, nevertheless live a life of fear."
You can participate in the Facebook Campaign to show your support for undocumented students whom wish to pursue their education or serve our country, by changing your profile picture to the one posted on the event page, and updating your status as the following:
"Undocumented _________ and Unafraid- In support of National Immigrant Coming out Day"
Filling in the blank with your major/career position, either current or future.
Ex. "Undocumented Computer Engineer and Unafraid- In support of National Immigrant Coming out Day"
Ex. "Undocumented Computer Engineer and Unafraid- In support of National Immigrant Coming out Day"
